Product Description

    Ergothioneine (2-mercaptohistidine trimethylendolide, L-Ergothioneine, EGT) is the only known natural 2-thioimidazole amino acid (2-thioimidazole). EGT has an absorption wavelength similar to DNA in the UV absorption range, which can effectively protect against UV damage. EGT has a strong antioxidant capacity and can inhibit the formation of various oxidation active substances. In addition, EGT is chemically stable, can accumulate in the epidermal cells of the skin belly and is non-toxic.
