Product Description

ABS, which is short for Acrylonitrile-Butadiene-Styrene, is an opaque polymer with a wide range of properties such as strong resistance to physical impact and corrosive chemicals. Among the common uses for ABS are power tool housings, packing crates, cases, tools and household components. This plastic is used for 3D printing (mainly FDM), CNC milling, lathing and injection molding.

 

 

 

1. For general grade ABS, it can be directly mixed with SAN for granulation. Daqing SAN-327 and Guoheng SAN-168 are recommended, because their nitrile content and high rubber powder match best and conform to the similar compatibility rule. The mixing ratio is generally 23-28:777-72, which can achieve the ideal physical property index (other additives are added according to the normal ratio, internal lubricant 0.8-1.0, external lubricant 0.5, antioxidant 0.3).

 

 

2. To make modified ABS products, the same as general ABS, ABS high adhesive powder needs to be mixed with SAN, the only difference is that other additives are added at the same time of mixing, such as flame retardant ABS, you need to add flame retardants and flame retardants (typical formula :ABS powder 30%-40%,SAN, flame retardants, additives 70%-60%); Making heat-resistant ABS requires additional heat-resistant components; Make glass ABS with extra glass filler.

 

3. Do ABS alloy products, for example, PA/ABS alloy, ABS alloy, PBT/ABS alloy, the so-called alloy material is nothing more than two or more materials in accordance with a certain proportion of physical blending, each other to get a more excellent comprehensive performance of the material. As the ABS component, it also needs the mixing of SAN and high rubber powder to obtain; The only difference is that the proportion in the alloy is small, such as the production of PC alloy, high rubber powder generally requires 8-12 (typical formula :ABS powder 30%-50%,SAN, PC, additives 70%-- 50%), performance indicators, the impact reached 600J/m, thermal deformation temperature is 110ºC, Rockwell hardness is about 110.

 

4. Toughened ABS return, PC/ABS return, etc., regardless of the new material return, its impact strength is provided by rubber powder
