Citric acid is a naturally occurring organic acid that is found in a variety of fruits, including lemons, limes, oranges and certain berries. New Ambition provides Citric acid Monohydrate and Anhydrous in markting.
Citric acid is an integral part of the Krebs cycle and therefore plays an essential role in the metabolism of all living things. It is a relatively weak acid and widely used throughout the food and beverage industry for a variety of purposes as an acidity regulator, preservative, flavor enhancer…etc. It is often used in the production of soda, candy, jams, and jellies, as well as processed foods like frozen and canned fruits and vegetables. Additionally, citric acid is used as a preservative to help extend the shelf life of products by inhibiting the growth of bacteria and other microorganisms.
Not only in food industry, Citric acid is also used as an antioxidant, plasticizer and detergent in the chemical industry, cosmetics industry and washing industry.
Citric acid is a very essential food additive (used mainly as an acidity regulator), obtained from processing corn into corn sugars into Citric acid.

In terms of food additives, citric acid anhydrous is mainly used in carbonated beverages, fruit juice beverages, lactic acid beverages and other refreshing beverages and pickled products. Citric acid, as a pH adjuster, can not only play a flavoring role, but also maintain its quality.
The corrosion inhibition performance of citric acid in detergents is also outstanding, such as cleaning metal containers, pipes, and water dispensers. Since the acidity of citric acid is relatively weak, the safety and reliability of cleaning are relatively strong, and the waste liquid is also relatively easy to handle.
Citric acid can stimulate the taste bud cells in the mouth to secrete saliva, which acts as a flavoring agent. It can regulate the PH value in the stomach and intestines, promoting animal appetite and absorption of nutrients.
