Product Description

Sodium isoascorbate is White or slightly yellow white crystal granular or powder, odorless, has little salt odor, the melting point is over 200º C, it is rather stable when exposed to the air in drying condition, but in the water solution, when there is air, metal, heat and light, the oxidation, when there is air, metal, heat and light, the oxidation will occur. It easily dissolves in water, 16g/mlat normal temperature, hardly dissolves in ethanol, the PHvalue of 5% water solution is 5.5-8.0.

Sodium erythorbate is a food additive used predominantly in meants, poultry, and soft drinks. As an antioxidant structurally related to vitamin C, it helps improve flavor stability and prevents the formation of carcinogenic nitrosamines.
Erythorbic acid can be used as food anti-oxidant; as auxiliary material of drug or health supplies; as stabilizer of chemical raw materials; as except oxygen, and anti-corrosion, and except scale solvent of important component; as electrolytes of electrolytic and plating; as metal micro-powder of production and heavy metal of recycling. In addition, erythorbic acid is also applied to textile chemicals manufacturing, building materials and daily-use chemical industry.
