Product Description

Food Ingredient Edible Native Maize Corn Starch Powder

Sorbitol Powder

Sorbitol is a new sweetener made from glucose. It is a colorless, odorless, clarified and sweet. Thick liquid or white crystalline powder, with excellent preservation, color retention, moisture retention, which could be widely used in food, medicine, chemical industry and other industries.
Sorbitol has a wide range of applications in food and pharmaceutical fields. In food, it is often used as a substitute for sugar additives and has moisturizing, thickening, and sweetening effects. It is also a popular low-calorie alternative for diabetics.
In the pharmaceutical field, sorbitol is used to make lubricants, cough medicines, oral care products, etc.

Raw starch main introduction
Etherified starch is a starch derivative in which the hydroxyl groups of the starch molecule and the hydroxyl groups of hydrocarbons are linked by oxygen atoms. There are many varieties of it, among which there are three main types of industrial production, namely carboxymethyl starch, hydroxyalkyl starch and cationic starch. The etherification modification of starch can improve the stability of viscosity, especially under high pH conditions, etherified starch is more stable than the above-mentioned oxidized starch and esterified starch, and is more widely used in the food industry (thickening). Pharmacy, pharmaceutical industry (binder and disintegrating agent for tablets), oil drilling (liquid loss agent), textile industry, paper industry, daily chemical industry (can be used as anti-soil redeposition agent for soap and household detergent)

Cationic Starch-Paper sizing
The positive charge of cationic starch enables it to combine with negatively charged starch to adsorb and keep other negatively charged additives on the matrix. During processing, cotton fibers tend to become negatively charged when they rub against metal parts, and this is especially true for hydrophobic synthetic fibers. If positively charged cationic starch is used for sizing, it not only has good adhesion, but also has the effect of eliminating static electricity. Cationic starch has been widely used in warp yarn sizing abroad. For example, cationic composite modified starch, that is, before cationic modification, starch is first subjected to pyrolysis and polymerization to obtain low-viscosity starch, and then cationic modification is performed. There are also amphoteric starch derivatives, which are obtained by double treatment of starch with cationic and anionic modifiers. The product contains both cationic and anionic groups.
