Oxalic acid is the simplest dicarboxylic acid, also known as oxalic acid. It is colorless and transparent crystal at room temperature. It usually contains two molecules of crystal water. When heated to 100.1 ºC, it loses crystal water and becomes anhydrous oxalic acid. It is hygroscopic, easily soluble in ethanol, water and slightly soluble in ether.
Metallurgical Industry: used for precipitation and separation of rare earth metals.
Printing and dyeing industry: printing and dyeing reducing agent, textile bleaching agent, which is used to replace acetic acid as a color developing and dyeing aid for fast pigment dyes.
Industry: for marble polishing, derusting, bleaching, descaling, tanning, wood, aluminum products, etc.
Electronic industry: used for the preparation of chemical raw materials for ceramic capacitors and the preparation of cleaning fluid for electronic equipment.
Organic synthesis: used for 2133 resin, Dianyu powder, CIS butyl catalyst, etc.
