Food field: Because citric acid has a mild and refreshing sour taste, it is widely used in the manufacture of various beverages, soft drinks, wine, candies, snacks, biscuits, canned juices, dairy products and other foods. Makeup field
Citric acid is a kind of fruit acid. Its main function is to accelerate the renewal of cutin. It is often used in lotion, cream, shampoo, cosmetics, anti-aging products, acne products, etc. The renewal of keratin helps to peel off melanin in the skin, shrink pores, dissolve blackheads, etc.
Environmental protection industry
Citrate buffer is used for flue gas desulfurization. Citric acid buffer solution is a desulfurization absorbent with great development value because of its low vapor pressure, non-toxicity, stable chemical properties, and high absorption rate of SO2.
Textile
Citric acid can be used as a reagent for chemical analysis in chemical technology, used as an experimental reagent, chromatographic analysis reagent and biochemical reagent; used as a complexing agent, masking agent; used to prepare buffer solutions. Formaldehyde pollution of clothing is a very sensitive issue, citric acid and modified citric acid can be made into a formaldehyde-free anti-wrinkle finishing agent, which is used for anti-wrinkle finishing of pure cotton fabrics. Not only the anti-wrinkle effect is good, but also the cost is low.
