Product Description

Sodium isoascorbate is a widely used antioxidant and preservative color aid in food. At present, the synthesis of sodium D-isoascorbate is generally achieved through indirect synthesis, which involves the fermentation of D-glucose by bacteria to produce 2-keto-D-gluconic acid (or calcium salt), which is then chemically transformed.
