1. Natural: Derived from the natural plant Stevia rebaudiana.
2. Low calorie: Does not participate in human metabolism, virtually calorie-free.
3. Good stability: Heat-resistant, acid-resistant, alkali-resistant, and not prone to decomposition.
4. High sweetness: Its sweetness is 250-450 times that of sucrose.
5. Economical: The cost of using stevia is only one-third of that of sucrose.
6. High safety: Verified by international authoritative organizations and pharmacological tests, stevia has been proven to be non-toxic and free of side effects.
Stevia Leaves CCP1: Fresh stevia leaves undergo processing steps such as cleaning, screening, and removal of impurities to obtain processed stevia leaf raw material.
Soaking Extraction: The stevia leaf raw material is soaked in water to extract stevia glycosides. Soaking can utilize temperature and time to increase extraction efficiency.
Flocculation: During the soaking extraction process, chemical agents such as polymers may be added to facilitate the formation of flocs, where stevia glycosides bind with other impurities and insoluble substances.
Frame Filtration: The flocs are separated from the liquid portion (containing stevia glycosides) through filtration, achieving solid-liquid separation.
Ion-Exchange: The stevia glycoside solution is processed through an ion-exchange column to remove impurities and other unwanted components.
Membrane Separation: Membrane technology is employed to further process the stevia glycoside solution. Reverse osmosis membranes or other types of membranes are used to remove water and impurities from the solution, resulting in a purer stevia glycoside concentrate.
Concentration: The stevia glycoside concentrate undergoes heat treatment or other concentration methods to remove additional water, resulting in a concentrated stevia glycoside solution.
Spray Drying: The concentrated stevia glycoside solution is sprayed into hot air, causing rapid evaporation and obtaining stevia glycoside powder.
Packing: The stevia glycoside powder is packaged to ensure its quality and freshness.
Finished Products: The final stevia glycoside product meets the relevant quality standards and can be marketed for sale or used in other food processing applications.
